How do I send an email to my guests?
With HolidayHero Touchpoints, you can send your guests an e-mail during each step of the guest journey: Pre-stay, check-in, during the stay, and after check-out.
To create an e-mail, take the following steps:
- Go to touchpoints in the left sidebar
- Click on "Create touchpoint" on the top right.
- Give your touchpoint a name. Anything could work here, from "Check-in details - important details before your stay" to "Book additional services" or "We like to get your feedback."
- Decide on the timing for your email.
- Select to whom you want to send it out: Invites (reservations) or Users (Guest that registered in the App)
- Click "save"
- Edit the channel "e-mail"
- Select a "from" name by using the insert field code. This is usually your "brand name or first name."
- Fill in the subject "We would like to get your feedback about (insert field code: {Brand Name} )"
- Build your email template by adding blocks.
- Once ready, send a test email to yourself to check the content.
- Once happy with the content, set the e-mail to "active" on the top of the page and click "save"
