The HolidayHero Mobile App is separately managed and maintained from the Web App. It typically has a more protracted process of production and feature releases due to the App Store and Google Play Store submissions. Each App in the App Store is maintained separately and has cost implications. A Web App is managed on the web, which makes it easier and faster to apply features without any other companies needing to approve your submissions. Web in that regard has a lot more freedom.
Let's say you want to update 20 completely personalized apps in the app store, you need to update all these apps separately and submit all apps separately to the app and Google Play stores. This process is way more cumbersome and costly.
First of all, there are the cost for hosting your app in the app store and google play store. Which is usually around 200$ per year. Then there is the maintenance, feature updates & submissions. Maintaining 20 Mobile apps, is way more costly then maintaining 20 Web Apps. And that is the reason that there is less flexibility when it comes to Mobile versus webb.
